When Do You Need Root Canal Treatment?
There are many nerves and blood vessels called the ‘pulp’ inside each of your teeth. When a tooth is decayed or damaged, bacteria enter the tooth and cause infection, killing nerves and causing pain. Bacteria can also spread into surrounding gum tissues, causing abscesses, pain and swelling.
Why Do I Need Fluoride?
Fluoride strengthens the surface of your tooth and prevents cavities, especially when applied within 2 years of tooth eruption.
Will My Teeth Be Whiter After Cleaning?
During the clean, your dentist will remove most of the surface stains on the teeth. However, the internal colour of teeth is not changed. If you’d like whiter teeth, take a look at our affordable teeth whitening treatments.
What Is The Difference Between Amalgam And Composite Fillings?
Amalgam is a mixture used for fillings made of silver, mercury and other metals. Composite is a plastic, resin-based material. We only use mercury-free filling materials.
